Growing up in a home with a family business and a mother as a teacher, Tamara learned at a young age the value of education along with developing a strong entrepreneurial spirit. She also recognized that she was very fortunate and she and her family were able to give back and offer a hand up.
On her journey, Tamara has faced both personal and professional challenges; at age 29, being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness changed the trajectory of her world. Taking the time to heal, rest and refocus opened new doors, a different path forward and a very strong understanding of the value of physical, mental and emotional well being.
The strength and knowledge Tamara gained through her personal health crisis prepared her for her for professional challenges moving forward; faced with a work environment that was abusive and unsafe, she was able to draw upon those tools to move forward.
Now she is is ready to share her knowledge and work with stakeholders to create diverse and inclusive cultures that will in turn build safe, strong, healthy communities.
She works with life long learners of all ages to create dynamic leadership development opportunities that will provide action plans for change makers.
We would love to have a conversation and explore what we can help you with.

” We need to do more than diversity and equity and inclusion. We need to create real belonging in our culture” - Brene Brown
I have had numerous opportunities to see Tamara Larson in action. Her passion to develop the next generation of leaders is remarkable and inspiring. She has been able to translate that passion into reality and involved others in the process of developing the next generation of leaders not only for Rotary but also the schools they attend and the communities they live in. Many of the leaders she has developed have gone on to be key leaders in their schools, communities, workplaces, and Rotary clubs.
If you have the privilege to sit through one of Tamara’s presentations and you don’t come out of it inspired to take action yourself and call others to join you on the journey. I’d visit your doctor to see if your heart is actually beating.
Tamara is a true champion for developing young leaders like few other people I’ve ever met. She recognizes that the next generation of leaders have much to offer our communities. and those of us who are more “mature” in years.
Her approach is to bring out the best in the next generation and stir up in them a belief in themselves and that they can really bring positive change to our world and have a profound impact in addressing real needs in their communities, our world and our country.
Her legacy is a trail of young leaders who have been mentored and trained by her and her team who are now making a significant difference in our world.

As editor at Our Kids Media, I had the great pleasure to work with Tamara Larson on editorial content for our magazines and websites on education and parenting.
Tamara was an important contributor and the education expert I often turned to for feedback, ideas and articles.
One of Tamara's notable accomplishments is her development of an online learning styles tool to help parents determine their child's learning style and what type of schools would fit best.
She also produced a well-researched and insightful feature on the the benefits of arts education in promoting diversity for Dialogue magazine, one of Canada's top education journals.
Always enthusiastic, dedicated and in tune to the trends of learning and curriculum development, Tamara was invaluable in contributing her expertise, feedback and ideas, and connecting Our Kids to contacts for editorial content for Dialogue and Canada's Private School Guide magazines and related websites. As a result of her valuable contributions, she is joining the editorial board this year.
